In 1955 Cardinal Ottaviani asked Sister Lucy why the secret was not to be opened before 1960. She told him, "because then it will be clearer" and added "because the Blessed Virgin wishes it so."
On January 25, 1959 John XXIII shocked the Sacred College of Cardinals by announcing a 'divinely inspired' council to give the world an example of peace and concord among men.(1-p2)
Later that same year on August 17, 1959 John XXIII read the third secret of Fatima and instructed his personal secretary to write on the envelope "I leave it to others to comment or decide." It was announced on February 8, 1960 through reliable Vatican circles, that it is most likely that the letter will never be opened, in which Sister Lucy wrote down the words which Our Lady confided as a secret to the three little shepherds in the Cova da Iria.(2-p242) The Pope disobeyed the wishes of the Mother of God which has resulted in a moral decay in the world that continues to grow daily. On January 25, 1959 John XXIII shocked the Sacred College of Cardinals by announcing a 'divinely inspired' council to give the world an example of peace and concord among men.(1-p2)
On October 11, 1962 John XXIII opens Vatican II a Council that was different from its predecessors because it was to be "pastoral" in nature, and promulgating no infallible doctrinal or moral teaching binding upon the Church. (1-p4) During the Council Fatima was ignored and Mother of God barely survived being thrown out of the Church of Her Son.
On April 23, 1966, exactly 1290 days from the opening of the Council, during his homily Paul VI presented a different picture of the Council by saying, "But now the conciliar doctrines must be seen as belonging to the magisterium (official teaching) of the Church and indeed be attributed to the breathe of the Holy Spirit." After the fact the purpose of the Council changes.
Sacred Scripture tells us, And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (Daniel 12:12) Please Note: 10/11/1962 + 1,335 = 06/6/1966
